Rep. John Culberson (TX-07) issued the following statement as the House Oversight Committee moves to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress: "Since I first called for Eric Holder’s resignation last year, the obstruction and stonewalling from this administration has continued beyond anyone’s comprehension.  This latest tactic to claim executive privilege is an abomination.  The Justice Department is charged with ensuring that our laws are followed, and for the president to prevent the truth from coming to light is a slap in the face to all Americans, especially to the family of Border Agent Terry.  The Attorney General is not above the law and he is not immune to the consequences of breaking it.  I fully support the Oversight Committee in moving forward with holding Attorney General Holder in contempt."
