John Culberson – U.S. House of Representatives

Earlier today, I was pleased to learn NASA officials have selected the next vehicle that will propel American astronauts into the depths of space. Developing the new Space Launch System will guarantee that American astronauts will travel on American-made rockets and that our country will remain at the forefront of human space exploration. Despite today’s announcement, I remain frustrated and deeply disappointed that the Obama Administration continues to delay the implementation of the human space flight program approved by a bi-partisan Congress last year. These delays have put our leadership in space exploration at risk and must not continue.
