WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. John Culberson (TX-07) offered his support for an amendment to H.R. 5855, the FY2013 Homeland Security Appropriations bill that would restrict funding for administrative amnesty to illegal immigrants. The amendment cuts off funds made available for the lenient immigration polices outlined in three memos released in 2011 from John Morton, Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The amendment was sponsored by Reps. Steve King and Lou Barletta.
