Please consider including the following items in a care package for our troops serving overseas.
Beef jerky or Slim Jims
Small cans of Vienna Sausage
Spam (cans or flat packages)
Small cans of meat spreads
Fruit cups
Granola bars
Ramen noodles
Chips (in cans)
Hot sauce
Crackers
Squeeze cheese (in cans)
Peanut butter crackers or other snack crackers
Cookies
Candy
Baby wipes or wet wipes
Hand sanitizer
Disposable razors
Chap stick
Magazines
Deck of cards
Gatorade (in small packages)
EmergenC drink mix
Gold Bond body powder (not the one with menthol)
White socks (crew sock length)
Odor-eaters sole inserts
Cold packs (during hot weather)
Hot chocolate mixes (during cold weather)
Please keep in mind that anything the troops cannot consume immediately must be carried with them. Travel size containers are better than full sized containers.
