Bureau of Engraving and Printing
Tours for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing are offered Monday through Friday. It is closed on all Federal Holidays, and is also closed during the week between Christmas and New Years. Tours of this venue fill up very quickly, so we are not always able to ensure that there will be availability during the times that you request your tour. If we are unable to secure you a tour through our office, you may also gain tickets through the Bureau itself. In order to obtain your tickets, you must go to the Bureau in the morning (distribution begins at 8:00 a.m., and tickets are distributed on a first come first serve basis). During heavy traffic periods, the Bureau will begin distribution at earlier times. In order to plan accordingly, please call 1-866-874-2330. This number will give you the exact distribution time for the day that you choose to wait for tickets. Our office recommends calling between 24 and 48 hours in advance of the day that you would like to take your tour.
